Really struggling with my diagnosis now having nightmares, anyone feeling the same? x
Hello
Yes I'm struggling too, terrified in fact and my breast nurse hasn't helped as she said MRI showing lymph nodes involved. I'm her2 positive
Julie x
Yes not heard from my murse. They say HER2 positive is easier to treat than negative as they can target it. It hit me over the weekend and not sleeping now. Have they given you a careplan?
Hello
I'm on fec t at the moment then will go onto next treatments including herceptin. Its because she was negative about it being in my lymph nodes even though its common for it to go there, or so I believe. What stage are you at? I'm not coping very well xx
I am starting Chemo next week then sugery and maybe radiation etc. Ive been researching this cancer it says its linked to a high fat diet?
Are you her2 like me? I eat a low fat diet and swim and exercise and dont drink or smoke. It's just bad luck. I'm tormented by why I have cancer. Is it it in your lymph nodes?
Yes grade 3 Her2 positive and yes ive been told that its bad luck just one of those things. Ive sent you a friend request. Have you started cemo yet?
Yes I had my second one last Thursday, did you say it was in your lymph nodes
How did you find chemo? They havent said though i hear its common x
Hello
Are you getting FEC-t? First one was ok, I recovered fairly quickly with a bit of nausea. This time I've been so tired and no motivation to do much. Have you had all your scans etc? Thry would have already told you if it was in your lymph nodes. X
Hi Gina, I was Diagnosed in June last year on my birthday, I had a lumpectomy with 38 lymph nodes extracted, I have finished my Radiotherapy and have had nightmares ever since, I was told I am lucky to be alive, and now I find myself waiting for that slap in the face, My underarm feels sticky even though it has healed, I can still feel the tumours even though they have reduced in size. I may never be normal again.
