I have been on tamoxifen for 2 years with the usual side effects. I stopped it for 6 weeks this summer prior to a hysterectomy. The joint pains went. They are now back with avengance along with megahot flushes. Can I take glucosamine with tamoxifen? Or has anyone taken anything else that works? I know I can't have HRT, I go to the gym, try to eat healthily, keep alcohol and caffeine to a minimum
I feel about 90! I am 52
Hi ,
I would hope you’d be ok with glucosamine, I’m on Letrozole and checked out a few meds I buy with my BCN, one was the generic form of Claritin (Loratidine, lots cheaper) which seems to help with joint and bone pain, an odd result of an antihistamine. I also got her approval for glucosamine with chondroitin.
So my suggestion is, do double check, but hope that it helps you!
