If you know of anyone admitted to hospital today do they are unable to go to polling station you should ring your local council and ask about an emergency proxy vote so someone else can vote on your behalf . I believe you have until 5pm on the day of election to request this.
If you have forgotten to post your postal vote take it with all the envelopes etc to polling station and they can take to the count later . You have to complete the postal vote as if mailing in (if you find instructions confusing polling station staff will help). You cannot place ballot paper in ballot box, it has to be on envelope.
If you are unsure where you should go to vote or even if you are registered ring your local council election office.
Finally you do not need your poll card you just have to be in register and not marked as postal vote. You do not need ID just give your street name followed my house number and they should find you .
Finally, finally you do not need to engage with tellers outside station. They are merely collecting stats/exit polls on behalf of a candidate/party. You can ignore or decline then. They are not part of the voting process.
