You'll be fine ..imagination far worse . Be like me I took everything they offered even when I wasn't in pain . Stay positive .

Dear Jo, I had this treatment two years ago. The injection really wasn't painful, just a little strange. Mastectomy also wasn't as bad as I anticipated. Just don't expect too much of yourself too quickly. Take regular pain relief and do all the exercises that are advised.

    Good luck

    Hi

If it's the isotope injections be prepared for unicorn wee and so I've heard unicorn tears.

I've actually got a unicorn nipple 3 months later.

It All adds to the fun.

    Hi

i had the injection in June, the morning of the mastectomy but honestly now it’s nothing to worry about. All the best for the mastectomy, it really is not as bad as you think it will be, take pain relief and use pillows to prop your arm up a bit, my arm was the most painful. Make sure you rest for few weeks, let everyone spoil you

    thinking if you

  • Hi Jo,

I was petrified with mine but in comparison to other procedures like the biopsy and fine needle aspirations that I have endured it was nothing and I didn’t realise that they had done it in the end.

I hope my experience helps to put you at some ease.

Wishing you a speedy recovery to wellness soon.

    Love Netty x
