Hi,
I haven’t posted on here for a while, but I thought I’d let you know some positive news. I was diagnosed in 2016 and started walking and then running in a determined effort to turn my life around and make something good out of my cancer journey.
Three days after my surgery I was driven to a local beauty spot and I managed to walk around 500m. Today I ran a 10k race in aid of breast cancer awareness and the route went past that very place. I’m slow, and it was tough, but I am now a runner first, a cancer survivor second. 3 and a half years and counting.
Good luck to all those still on the earlier parts of this unwelcome experience.
With love

Hi,
I'm so pleased you're still doing well. I have often wondered how you were. Obviously still in Montpellier? Congratulations on your run. My son is a runner so I know how much training and energy was required to do a 10km. Well done.
We aren't too far away at the moment .....having a holidayin the Albéres. We have been so lucky with the weather.......
Hope you continue from strength to strength....love Karen
Thank you Karen. I do still think of you and some of the others who were spending time on these boards as we went through our treatment. I’m still in France ((actually near Nîmes) and getting my life back on track, but it wasn’t easy.
I hope you’re doing well.
lots of love
