It’s started to grow back. I have eyelashes too. I didn’t completely lose all my eyebrows and they are thicken up too now as well.
Its not much hair I appreciate that, but it’s been nearly 3 months since the end of Chemo so I’m pretty happy.
I can’t post a photo of me in the wig atm not sure why. I tried to upload one but just say can’t find the jpeg image I wouldn’t mind but I’ve uploaded the photo before! Lol.
Hope you are all well x x
What a lovely picture! In a month or two you could rock the Audrey Hepburn look! X
Thank you so much.
Hahaha, well I’ll certainly try.
Only one of my friends has seen me without my wig when I was close to bald, I didn’t bother to shave it off.
Its just good to say I have my taste buds back and have a bit of hair.
Ive booked a holiday for October so I’m hoping to go wig free by then x x
Lovely pic and thank you for sharing. Very encouraging for me as I lost my hair over the weekend and picked up my wig today. Although now I sitting with a cold flannel on my bonce to cool me down. Not the best day to try a wig for the first time.
I'm sure by October you'll have a lovely head of hair.
XOXO
Hi,
Just a thought......if wigs are hot....I chose not to bother with one.....I had 2 bamboo turbans in blue and cerise then I bought lots of cheap head bands from shops like clairs accessories that would go around the turbans but more importantly match to my clothes. (The bamboo is very cool in heat and warm in cold.) People always commented how stylish it looked and it boosted my morale no end. I know it means people realise you may have cancer but for me that didn't matter much as I didn't look very well most of the time I was having chemo because I was quite unwell.
Hope the next few months are not too difficult for you all but remember it will be over before too long.
Love Karen
I've bought one of these as a backup in the heat (and a lovely bamboo picc line cover for the pic line I'm getting next week. The top is a headband so they should be cooler. I'll give a review when it comes.
