Hi
Thought I would share my good news with you, I hope this will help anyone that is going through the same journey as me some hope for the future, however bad things are or seem at this moment. I had a mastectomy on June 19th on my left breast, following a diagnosis in April of 1 DCIS, Grade 1 tumour 6mm, and a grade 2 tumour 15mm. I have had my results today and I have not got to have chemotherapy or radiotherapy as the cancer has all been removed. I will have to take Letrozole for many years , it is a huge relief and I can now look forward to the future. I wish anyone on this journey my best wishes and hope hearing this will realise there is light at the end of what has seemed a very large tunnel.
Rita
