So had 2nd round Fec on Mon, not to bad but suffered terrible nausea and headache that night. Had an early night dosed up with painkillers and anti sickness and woke up fine so fingers crossed. The nurse did set the drugs that can make you feel sick to go through at 15 mins, but last time it was 20, so might ask them to change back as might have made a difference. Has anyone experienced that?
well the steroids are kicking in with the insomnia and again wide awake. Lying here listening to hubby snoring and planning a surprise 80th lunch for my Mum, May as well do something useful. Dont think the kids would appreciate me starting to hoover.
It was my first day at work today wearing a hat. Made special effort with make up and got lots of compliments but still getting over that feeling of ‘is she isn’t she’ when people look at me, just getting used to it I suppose. But I ramble on. Anyone else awake?
Hi itgotme (love the ingeniousness of your name!)
I see that no-one else was around that morning, but for future sleepless nights you might want to join the ladies on the AWAKE thread.
I can't answer your question about nausea as I was one of the lucky ones who didn't need chemo. - by saying hello, this will have bumped your post up and someone who has more knowledge of the the drug regime for Fec.
I do hope your sleep improves for you as you need your strength - can't believe you went to work as well.... what a trouper you are!
Kindest wishes,
