Hi there
I'm wondering if anyone taking tamoxifen is suffering horrendous flushes and cold episodes, i probably need to speak to oncology but wondering if anyone is taking any remedies that may reduce the sweats and sleepless nights and would appreciate any advice given. I'm at my whits end with it.
thanks
Hi Brooksy
I started Tamoxifen at end of March. I am having some hot flushes but they are manageable so haven’t looked in to any remedies as yet. I am suffering quite bad with sore joints especially feet and ankles. I would welcome any advice if anyone knows what could help with this.

Hi there
I have started acupuncture for my aches and pains in knees and shoulders and it is helping to reduce the extreme pain . I haven't had pain in in my feet but definitely ankles shoulders and knees , I have had 5 sessions now and I can say it has reduced the symptoms , it could be something you could try I found this out through the breast care nurses , hope this helps x
Hi,
ive been on tamoxifen approx a year. My flushes are doable but my cramps especially in feet are very bad at times. I spray magnesium on my feet and that helps a lot. I’ve also tried to take the medication at different times and found taking them at 7.30 pm is the best for me. Hoping you find something to ease your discomfort soon
