Morning

Returning after 12 years clear and I'm starting again. Cancer seems to be same size, same type and the proposed treatment seems very similar.

Last time I found the lump, I had lumpectomy and ALL lymph nodes removed followed by radiotherapy and tamoxifen. This time they are check one lymph node. Last time I was in hospital 5 days this time I think 5 hours if I'm lucky.

I've so much to read and work through brain is in a fuzz. This time I know what to expect, so I'm more nervous. I keep getting flash backs remembering stuff I thought I'd forgotten. But such slot has changed too.

I'm not sure what to think. Perhaps ignorance is really bliss.

Hello so sorry to hear this is your second time of all this poopiness.

I'm sure things have changed in the 12 years and hopefully much easier. You managed to get through it last time successfully and you'll get through it again. try to think of it as this time you will be able to prepare for it.

If you have any concerns speak to your breast care nurse about them, ask lots of questions, don't be letting them think because you've been through this before that you don't need questions answered.

And come and talk to us, and hopefully we'll be able to give you some reassurance and lots of support.

I'm not sure if Google was about 12 years ago but avoid it like the plague, the information can be out of date and untrue.
