Hi. I'm 5 months post chemo for BC snd my hair is very white and curly. It's approx 2 inch long g now but I have no idea what to do with it. Hairdressers say too short for a style and don't want to put a colour on it. My fingers nails have grown back fortunately.
Hi. Mine is less than 2 inches after 6 months - just iver an inch I reckon. Mine is a but wavy - dead straight before. But I went to hairdresser and asked her to do something with it. I also asked her to put some purple highlights in but they didn't take. Two short for coils do tried to comb it in. But she managed to give me a style which I can grow from. This pic was taken on the afternoon I went to hairdresser about 3 weeks ago. So you should be able to get something done that looks as though it was a style of choice!
Good luck!
Hi,
i haven’t had chemo, just Letrozole since April 2018 after my mx, which thinned my very thick hair quite a lot, then it began growing thicker again and yes, went curly! It used to be quite wavy but now, though it is still quite short, the layers are longer and I’m just celebrating the curl! Still silver which I got used to when I turned 50 (I’m 74 now)

Thank you. Will try to sort. By the way your hair is fab
Hi Lynneb
If you Google post chemo hairstyles you'll find loads of ides for short and super short hair, be prepared to whack on gel and hairspray to get a 'style' - that is if you're like me and are avoiding getting it cut.
I had low lights put in in April which was 7 months post chemo and by using that swimming hat thingy with holes meant no dye touched my scalp, although I'd chosen a gentle dye, the color took fine.
Anyway, it made me look presentable for a while although I'm a bit of a wild woman of wonga at the moment... : )
Good luck and enjoy your lovely locks!! xxx
So I’m a year on
Ive been through the bald, the scarf and the growing the curls out
And on warm hot days I go curly Shirley Temple style
But no bigging me up but to give you hope and guess what the site won’t let me upload
Oh hurrah it has
Me looking sort of normal
So keep the faith
Listen to your hairdresser
