I was being good this time until today, I even preemptively taped the connection above the valve c.8cms from where it's stitched in place so that when I forgot about it I'd not pull it out by the valve and break the vacuum like last time. This is day 4, and I've just walked away forgetting it so now have a lovely throbbing sensation in my armpit!
Has anyone here NOT forgotten they had one?
I managed to poke myself in the eye with my PICC line, twice
it had plastic stopper on the end which was usually held in place by a elasticated bandage but I was washing up and tried to scratch my nose ... that's my story and I'm sticking to it
hugs

Oh yes! I ended up pinning mine to clothing so if they pulled it would tug my top first.....the final ooops was when I caught the tube in the washing machine door and it ripped it apart, had to hot foot it back to the hospital (had only just been there! to be honest, they were used to it, and rapidly sorted me out!)
hope you don’t have them for too long, my last (the deep one) was just over 2 weeks!
