Is there anyone taking risedronate?if so i’d be interested to hear how you are coping on it. I was taken off alendronic acid due to severe chest pains (not heartburn) and put on risedronate.after the first tablet I could barely keep my eyes open for the first 2 days then it gradually improved. I’m always tired but this was different it was like combining chemo fatigue and working night shift aft no sleep. I thought I was just being silly and I was just more tired than usual but the same thing happened again.luckily this time I didn’t have the school run this time andcould crawl back to bed for a bit. There’s nothing in the side effects about extreme tiredness so maybe it’s just me
Hi
Sorry I can't help, but just bumping your post up as you've slipped to the second page in case someone can help.
Kindest wishes,
Hi ,

Big hugs to you all! Kx
Hi ,
Took my first risedronate on Saturday morning and haven't noticed any side effects. I am feeling tired but have been feeling that from before taking it. I've only finished radiotherapy last Thursday.
If I notice anything next week will let you know.
Is the severe tiredness continuing every week after taking it? Maybe you should mention to doc if it continues.
Take care Kx
Big hugs to you all! Kx
Hi
ive been taking Risedronate since last October and can’t say I have had any side effects BUT side effects of chemo and or radiotherapy can last up to 2 years , or more . I get periods of extreme fatigue, I just have to give in to it and sleep . I’m getting stronger all the time but have now developed arthritis! So it seems that chemo just keeps giving us gifts ! Gee great !!
So take care of yourself and maybe get your bloods checked . I also take AccreteD3 calcium/ vitamin D tablets .
Love
Ruby Rose
