  • Dearest ,

Welcome to the mad house, or should I say, to the group that none of us wanted to join.

I’m sure your head will be in a whirl with all this. I can still remember that day I was told those words.  Thank goodness for this site and this group.

You are at the stage where you have got your ticket for the roller coaster ride and are now in the queue about to get in the ride. You will have so many ups and downs of emotions, questions, worries and concerns. This is all natural. Just remover you will get through this.

Most of us found the waiting the hardest part, waiting for results.  Once you have your treatment plan as you now have you can work towards.

Please keep posting in here, if you have ‘any’ questions no matter what they are - jystcadk abd between us we will come up with an answer.

Please never feel alone - we are here for you.

There is a thread called ‘awake’ where a lot of us pop on and off must of the time - if ever you feel you need to talk - no matter what the time, please post.

Sending you hugs and remember you will get through this xxx

I'm hoping this makes sense - only my mind says one thing and my fingers type whatever they like x

    Morning and Welcome,

This place is amazing and it really helps to talk to people who get you because they are or have gone through the same. I believe that this place has made it so much easier for me and i have made friends i will have forever. In fact i should have been going to Barcelona today to meet one of the lovely ladies but due to this stupid thing i've had to cancel but plan on going later in the year.

So anything you want to ask, ask away. I've had a lumpectomy and was home the same day and it is quite surprising how painless it is. The waiting around for results and the next step is worse.

    Hope you're doing ok,

Give us a shout if you want any hints. One thing i would say is pack yourself some cartons of juice for after your lumpectomy i found it easier than drinking water.

    Take Care
