Been reading some of the posts on here and feel a little better for it. I am waiting to hear about biopsy results...next week. The last few days have been terrible as you will all probably know/experienced. Feeling low for myself but it is the family to be honest, awful seeing them cry too and horrible dark thoughts. The evening and nighttime is the worst. Just wanted to say something
Hi , Welcome to the group. Fingers crossed your stay here is short! But if not may I reassure you, that you will find this group an amazing source of help, advice and support!
We all totally understand the feeling sad for your family. None of us wanted to put our family through this. But IF it turns out to be Cancer you must remember that Breast Cancer is very treatable and although the treatment isn’t much fun, it is VERY doable!
You are correct in saying the evening/nights are the worse! This is why I started a thread called the AWAKE thread. It’s a place for people to come Day or Night, to chat, ask questions or believe it or not, have a giggle! We keep things light hearted most of the time! We post pictures that will make people smile, but we also share more serious thoughts and feelings. If you fancy coming on and saying Hi, we will make you very welcome! There’s usually someone on there Day or Night!
So for the next few days. Try and keep busy! Don’t over think things! Once the results are in, you will know what if anything you are dealing with. IF it’s Cancer they will have a treatment plan! Just remember IT IS VERY TREATABLE! Plus you will have the support of EVERYONE in this Breast Group!
So keep talking to us and remember you will never be alone, we are with you every step of the way IF you need us!
