So went for my apt today after being told by the radiologist last week that I had breast cancer and would be going back today for the treatment plan.
I was told that the biopsy results showed no evidence of cancer. I literally couldn't believe it. I read on google last night that radiologists were 91% accurate at recognising cancer. She hadn't left me with one chink of hope.
I feel very guilty now for posting on here but I honestly truly believed I had cancer after what I was told. I would like to thank everyone who took the time to message me and I wish you all lots of love and luck.
With warmest wishes
xxxx
Whoop - that's fantastic news, although you could have done without the week of worry! I think that radiologists are pretty good at diagnosing fro what they see, but it just goes to show that they're not always right!
You definitely shouldn't feel guilty about posting on here when you were worried, that's what the forum is for. I'm just glad that you won't have to come back to post about treatment plans etc!
Did they tell you what they thought the original lump/area of concern was?
I hope you're going to celebrate in style and go on with life as it should be lived!
Some congratulatory fireworks are in order I think...
