So I have just over 24 hours now til my apt on Friday afternoon. I had a routine docs apt yesterday (for my repeat prescription for bp meds) and she was really lovely and chatted to me about things.
She said it was really good news that they hadn't been able to find anything in my armpit as she thought due to the position of the lump that would be the first place it would spread to.
She also prescribed me some valium just enough to get me through the apt.
In the meantime being at work is helping so much.
Hope everyone else is doing ok.

Hi
That sounds nice an promising from your doctor - sounds like a really good doctor and as if she doesn't subscribe to the '10 minutes only appointment including administration'. There is one doctor at my practice who has that ethos and he always has long backlogs because he is so lovely and won't rush anyone out of the door. But if I want to be in and out quickly, I never book with him as I know it'll be a minimum of an hour wait before I actually get to see him unless it's the first appointment of the day!
Good luck with your appointment on Friday.
Kindest wishes,
Hi
Really pleased you saw a good GP and got the prescription for something to help with the anxiety. That is exactly what this sort of medication is for, to help short term.
Glad work is helping and the appointment will soon be here, and you will know where you stand, and treatment will start if needed.
Good luck for the appointment xxx
