Morning, Has anyone had problems with wind. Not nice. .started on new letrazole by Dr Reddy for past 6weeks. Stomach gas, bloating etc. Haven’t found a make that doesn’t give side effects, but this one ........
Hi
Take a look at this post, it looks to be similar side effect and the possibility of what is causing it.
Best wishes,
Thank you, could be right, cut back on milk today, and not as bad, thank goodness. Will try to cut out dairy as well .
Hi
I drink oat milk now - tastes really nice (some brands are better than others) and there are vegan cheeses sold in main supermarkets in the "free from" sections which are really tasty.
I worked on the premise that cows are fed oestrogen, so I didn't really want to be ingesting too much oestrogen when I'm taking tablets to reduce it! (only my theory, I hasten to add). I do however still have a yoghurt every day as our stomachs need the good bacteria and I couldn't think of an alternative.
Hope it continues to improve for you
Best wishes,
Yes, me too! If you read the ingredients I think you'll find there's lactose in them and that's probably the cause. I'm lactose intolerant so don't eat anything dairy and Letrozole for me is a problem... : (
I was offered Exemestane instead (lactose free / but usually used for advanced breast cancer) I can't find sufficient information on it so have stuck with the Letrozole for now
