She was an absolute star but time for her to take some time for her right now.

As has been said I’m taking some ‘me’ time and have stood back to help mend me. 

Loss of one dear friend and another good friend has meant supporting directly those affected by cancer and mourning their passing. 

A hubby and a daughter needing support for their health issues too. And time needed for that fills my days. 

So until I feel the strength to return I send you all my heartfelt love and thoughts. The battle is doable but leaves scars that can’t always be seen. So continue to make you a priority in your own life

May your God’s be with you and may you rise like a phoenix with greater love, strength and empathy.

Leolady56 We will all be here waiting for you when you feel it's time to come back. You are one very special lady and don't you ever forget that. You have made so many of my poopy times so much less poopy and i will be forever grateful for that.

Whilst Lindsay is taking well earned and important time out for herself, can anyone else clever do the April radiotherapy and chemo chat threads? They are so important to a lot of people, but I wouldn't know where to start?

Any other champs out there able to do what Lindsay has so kindly done for the past few months?

Thank you for replying.  

You have helped so many of us, I want you to know I am here for you, if I can help in any way.

I understand about the 'me' time.  I am 'trying' hard to do this, even my walking I class as 'me' time and, when I say this it really makes me realise how little 'me' time I actually spend on myself.  I have been moaned at for walking, like I am going out to enjoy myself - when I could be working!! I have taken deep breaths and said 'walking for me is 'hard work' - I am not fit, so it really isn't fun, I am pleased when I have done it' - but to have this said, well, really does make you wonder some times.  

I have gone off at a tangent - sorry.  

I totally get it Leolady - you do need to take time for you and your family.

Be kind to yourself, remember how far you have come - get galloping Lindsay, like a horse let out into the field on a warm sunny day - enjoy!!!
