Hi all
I am not new here . Last year I had lumpectomy on my left breast and lymph node removed all was Clear .
I was prescribed letrozole and had radiotherapy.
My first mammogram was on the 31st of dec 2018 .
Yesterday I received a letter with an appointment asking me to go back for an X-ray breast tomosynthesis right , next Tuesday .
I am terrified and so worried and need a bit a comfort from you please .
The waiting is the worst thing , i want to keep positive and have hope , but from my last experience I can see what’s coming my way .
Thank you
you are absolutely right waiting is the worst thing and stress does not help if you (might) have cancer

Hi Amal.I had Lobular cancer in 2017 1 lympnode with cancer cells so had all taken out , had Lumpectomy and Radiotheraphy Lobular is very hard to see on the screen especially if you have dense breast’s so it’s probably just a precaution that they have asked you to go back, think that camera has a 3D effect so they can see it more clearly. Good luck let us know how you get on.
Dear Boobylou - I keep searching for those with a cancer like mine and yours was. I have just finished radiotherapy. I am so scared that they didn't give me gene testing or recommend Chemo even with 2 nodes affected and I wonder how you are doing now?
Best wishes Sarah
