But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

A really useful zoom choir prac, I had prepared well so it was really helpful, dealing with parts I’d found tricky. Note-bashing stages. Henry nosed me a couple of times (think he wanted more play) but curled up on his throw on the sofa in disgust when he got ignored! He had his walk straight afterwards. I’m doing 3 walks a day but the middle one is the long one, about 2+ miles, depending on chill, sniff, other dogs factors. The other walks are really just for essentials. He gets booted out first thing and last things too. (yes, he’s a man, loads of wees!!!!)
Think I’m doing ok really. I watched ‘saving Christopher Robin’ last evening which set me off. Years ago hubs realised I liked the stories and had got used to reading to my nephews, doing voices for the animals, and he insisted I read to him too. He bought me prints of the beautiful EH Shepard illustrations as a present one Christmas, and they are hung up in the hallway/stairs. Managed to dry my eyes eventually.

Coheal it was so cold up north yesterday as well with the wind making it feel worse . Think that also makes you tired as well as the city and tussle at hospital . Have a good rest today .
I was thinking of Tynemouth market for a trip followed by Fish and chips at NShields fish Quay but it looks lovely outside but so cold . Think I’ll stay close to home
