But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

A doggy cat mode, Nothernlass ) great description!
Weather is what daughter called ‘froggy’, frosty and foggy, this morning. Sadly there is what sounds like clay pigeon shooting going on which Henry finds worrying, bless him. So after a swift outing he’s back toasting himself by the air vent (I have gas warm air heating.) having had a bit of his breakfast.
Watching James Martin on tv, if I’m not at the museum that’s my favourite!

Henry has been very good, had a walk with gunshots going off in the distance (probably clay pigeon shooting, this area is a busy sporting area)I did have to comfort him, and then drag him, but did a lot of praising when I heard any more and he continued walking. I hope that’s helped him.
Just done our third (short) walk of the day, and I now know how to get him to eat breakfast (a small treat cut into 3 added to it!)
Daughter says the weather is more windy than normal at this time of year, and this morning there was rain. But temps are in the mid to high 20s. I’ve asked if she’ll bring home some warm sun!

Henry woke me several times in the night by getting up and shaking himself, got him back tucked up each time but oh I’m tired! Had a mega hot flush at the 5am waking…..took half an hour to cool down and sleep again!
First walk done, bits of the treat extracted from his breakfast by Henry (!) and the rest left at present, hope he will eat it eventually.

Ohmoomy , I empathize with you re the hot flush! Last night I woke at 2, to find myself soaking wet with sweat. Bedroom temp was only 17 degrees, so obviously it was me, so what did I do...I laid there with no bedclothes for over an hour with the overhead ceiling fan (normally used for sultry summer nights!!) going full blast until I cooled sufficiently to try to get back to sleep. It's just as well OH sleeps in another room now, or I think a few stern words would have been said!
I'm loving the sleepy fairy dust, but do you have the cooling version available at all?
