But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Getting very fed up with cramps in the night/early morning, feet mostly, waking me up. Yes I’m well hydrated, so I’m not sure what’s going on. I’ve got to pick up a prescription at the chemist so might ask about quinine.
Washing on the go, will potter in the garden later…..

Our chemist didn’t actually have a pharmacist there so couldn’t either give me my meds or sell me quinine! Will try again on Monday….
now that I can get LFTs, I’m testing again, plus wearing a mask gives me a cough for a few days afterwards. And I went to the local Lymphoma group on Thursday for a couple of hours, haven’t seen them all for a while.
Museum today….

The improvement to Apple Watch is continuing, phew!
A busy morning so far, 2 deliveries, one DPD the other Royal Mail, that’s all my Costco orders. Plus I’ve managed to get my prescriptions as there was a pharmacist there this morning. And I’ve de-scaled the coffee machine too (a bean to cup so a bit complex and takes a while). Dishwasher has almost finished it’s run, and I’ve also watered the garden. No hosepipe ban yet but I’m starting to conserve water already, dishwasher is only used around once a week!
Now sat with feet up deciding what to have for lunch….

That's how I manage it moomy. I do all my jobs before 11.00 then relax until tea time. Today it's 36° but it's dry heat.....no storms on the horizon yet. Mum is very happy in the morning sunshine and luckily with shutters and stone walls, inside stays quite reasonable.
