But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

All seems ok apart from the tops of two young plants which were literally blown to bits by the windy conditions here yesterday and the afternoon before.

Those two plants have been replaced, we had some spares! There's really nothing else that can be done in the garden! I watered this afternoon, too, all the pots and the new plants just put in. We had been daring and put in a few runner bean seedlings and they too were fine.
So today I've had a fairly lazy day but pottering about sometimes makes you ache anyway! We had a delivery of a heavy item (a small generator for longer trips in the van!) and I got that all unpacked so hubs didn't have to lift much, then got my flour delivery ( thank you Chrissie from Sugarsmiths) so thats gone on the windowsill in quarantine (can't be too careful!)
Birthday is coming up, so some of the deliveries are a mystery to me! We normally all try to get together on family birthdays (hubs' 70th a few years back had us all having a wonderful day in London, doing lots of wheelchair friendly stuff including Cutty Sark which we all really enjoyed)) so this will be a bit strange. But I bet the kids have pulled out all the stops, and a card arrived today in the post too.....

Oh my!!!!!
Our local pharmacy and the visiting nurse have got super-efficient! I only ordered repeats on Monday and they've just been delivered!
Did my yoga outside to birdsong, then jogged/marched on the spot even before I had my porridge and fruit! Feeling virtuous! Yesterdays Sainsbury and flour deliveries have got me thinking, perhaps I should be a bit adventurous with dinners......

I popped a remark about outdoors yoga onto our private fb group and was awarded a badge! Ahhhhh!
actually it was a quiet moment between traffic going off to work (if there were any!) and the emerging shoppers/joggers/cyclists/neighbours making noises and the birdsong was amazing, plus the flitting to and fro gathering food/nest materials and so on; it was just lovely!

I thought I’d had a lazy day today; but thinking back, I did get onto hands and knees and scrubbed the kitchen floor! It’s textured vinyl so is happy to get a wipe over but every so often a proper scrub really brings it up and makes you realise how grubby it has got!

Himoomy!I am currently knocked out by the birdsong too...I wonder if they are louder at the moment?have been trying to find out if they are,and why....so intriguing!
one day I went out and just took a video of the silence and birdsong....I loved it.It was beautiful.
just before the lockdown our
communal gardener planted two roses outside my window.I have been watering them regularly,(am not a gardener),but am so pleased they are starting to show little buds!!
Am loving nature through lockdown And having my walk almost every day...x
