But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

The birdsong issue (whether louder or not) was actually discussed on the BBC program 'More or Less' a few weeks ago. Here'e the BBS Sounds link. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000hfqq It might not be what you think!
Hi,Violetsniffand ,
I am wondering if we hear the birdsong simply because there's less traffic noise AND we are doing less rushing around therefore can attend to what's around us more? It's certainly true i have 'more time to stand and stare'.......But I'll, check out the BBC's notion tomorrow, thanks for posting it! Tired now, just watched The American President (again!), one of our favourite films.....

So, daughter, partner and we are all getting rather 'stir crazy', but all realise we do need to stay cautious, especially daughter and her partner! Daughter was feeling fine after her treatment by last night. Clever lass!
We are trying to think of somewhere not too far (and not too popular) to drive the 'van for a different view and to take some lunch and/or dinner to try it all out. We need to check for rattles of course, plus it would just be great to find somewhere lovely to sit and watch the world/nature go by!

There's a distinct aroma of chocolate around the house as I've made myself a cake (well tomorrow is an important day, hahaha!) from the Sugarsmiths shops 'just add water' range of amazing cake mixes, and hubs is slightly disgruntled though, moaning about the smell, but even though he's a) diabetic, b) says he doesn't like cake and c) says he doesn't like chocolate, I suspect he will still help me eat it!
I'm actually thinking of getting out for a walk, but am worried as to how to pick the least populated time, as I really don't want to risk coming into contact with ANYONE, to be honest! I've been out to collect our green bin and carefully looked both ways! It's amazing how paranoid this virus has made us all! I have done my 10 minutes of yoga in the garden this morning, it was lovely!
