Just thinking ladies, as we are all going through much the same journey that we should have a thread on here for crafts. I am sure there are lots of you knitting, crocheting, sewing etc to keep the dreaded side effects at bay and help us cope day to day.
I personally knit and have posted on here some of my knitting. Would be nice to see/hear what other people do. We could share pictures, hints and tips as well
So I will start with a couple of things I have done in the last few days.
This is my slouch hat that I finished on Friday night. Will be wearing it for the first time today!!
This was on the needles saturday night ......
And finished saturday night. A little headband/earwarmer for my granddaughter.
I am now off to have my PICC line inserted ready for 2nd round of chemo tomorrow (!!!!!!):)
Hope to see lots of pics when I come back!!
Have a good day everyone xx
Indeed Judith ( ) - 'tis a Clanger!
I can't find a pattern for the Soup Dragon though...
This weekend's random project - the llama!
Knitted in a wool I hate and I now remember why I don't knit Fairisle stuff anymore - it's so fiddly! When I was at University I used to knit for a shop and one of the jumpers was a large Fairisle one - nightmare AND I got paid peanuts!
The 98 tassels on his poncho wore my patience thin, but quite pleased with him overall!
Fiddly but fantastic. Glad those fingers are still zipping away
I loved this as a child. Noggin the Nog . The voice for the tv programme used to entrance me.
Found it on that site

Life is like a boxing match, defeat is declared not when you fall ..... But when you refuse to stand up again ....... So, I get knocked down but I get up again. x
Finally, after nearly 2 years, I have finished the neverending tapestry. Now to get the cat hair off it and get it framed. Normally I do my own framing but this one is too big and too special so I'm going to get a professional to do it. Today, I started my next project - a knitted lacy shawl for my daughter. Struggling already with the 3 ply yarn.
