Thank you all in so many ways

Leolady this is what really worries me about my op next week. I told surgeon I've enough boob spare so make sure you take more than needed as once is enough let alone 3 times. All you ladies really make me more aware of what i need or should be saying to the 'professionals' xx
Jacks77, Bigguy is mighty fine thank you. All goes downhill from tomorrow. Onc appointment tomorrow, bloods & road trip to Sheffield Children’s Hospital with youngest on Weds, wig Thurs & chemo Friday!! What fun!!
Chemo will be nowhere near as bad as you think - honest. The waiting and thinking beforehand is by far the worst.
There’s a chemotherapy club thread but I’m not able to tag :-( It’s really helpful
Fill the next few days doing fun stuff and put chemo in a box on a high shelf until the 15th.
xXx
Leolady, sometimes the plot has to be lost!!
Hope he goes home and thinks long & hard about your consultation. He might think you were a bit bonkers (so what?? You were completely justified) BUT, he SHOULD be thinking how he’d feel if it was his wife, mum or sister going through the same.
Also, 20-30 years ago, he might well have been punched by yours or someone’s Mister!!
xXx
Here's a tag for the Chemo Club !!
You lot certainly brighten my day - completely bonkers the lot of you!!
Hugs xx
Karen

Leolady
Hi Bigguy
I’m sure you’re right, now I know the start date my mind is all over the place, I just need to get it all started.
I’m off to the wig shop on Wednesday, Monday is the 3 hr appt with the chemo nurses, Tuesday nuclear bone scan, another 4 hours at the hospital and then Thursday is the start day. I will take a look at the thread you’ve mentioned. I posted on the January chemo club re the EC type of chemo, it may be the same one.
I’ve got a list of bits to get from looking on here, have you got any suggestions for me please?
Hope all of your appointments go well this week xxxx
