Hi any one out there with similar diagnosis struggling at the moment to understand it
HI M77
welcome to the online community. So sorry to hear about your diagnosis and sorry to hear that you're struggling to understand it. I'll confess its not a tumour I am personally familiar with but there is an Ask an Expert section on here that may be able to provide some more information for you, but do allow two to three working days for replies from our expert team.
There may also be someone within the group who has experience of this.
My own husband was diagnosed with a glioblastoma a year ago. One thing I have learned is that everyone is different and everyone's situation unique.
I'd encourage you to write down all your questions and ask them then next time you see your medical team. Those initial consultations can be quite overwhelming and its easy to forget to ask the things that are important to you.
If you feel you need to talk to someone about this, Macmillan Support Services also offer lots of information, support, financial guidance or just someone to listen. It’s free to call 0808 808 0000. Most services are available 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week.
Hang in there. Stay positive.
love n hugs
