Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.

  • Hi H,I hope you found some nice presents at the Christmas fair.I like to support local shops though I haven’t been going out much since the pandemic. My aunt has snow in Warwickshire but it’s been sunny and dry here so far.I also have clearing to do from our silver birch trees.I can only do a couple of hours at a time because of my back but got a fair amount done earlier.Love Jane xx

  • Hi Jane....

    What an amazing photo Grinning

The room I'd finished, I've ordered new bedding so I'll sort that when it comes. I have someone picking up one of the beds tomorrow.

Sounds like you've been busy too. I do love a good sort out. I'll pop to the tip tomorrow morning too and get last few Christmas bits before the shops go bonkers. I can't belive I've nearly finished the Christmas shopping and it's still November... I was a Christmas eve shopper till I met hubby 10 years ago and my family of 3 became 13. Ha ha

    Sending love to all

  • Thanks Clare,It was an interesting sunset tonight.I love a sort out too and there is plenty to do here.I haven’t thought much about Christmas, spent the last two on my own but hope I can see John this year.John & my sister Sarah always want Amazon tokens as they have long wish lists for cd’s and Dvd’s.Both of them love music and my sister is keen on film.Neither are hard to buy for it’s just that I have lost track of what they have already.Ah yes the Christmas Eve shopping,I know it well.I have got much better in recent years as I hate leaving it till the last minute.Love Jane xx

  • Certainly an interesting sunset. We didn't get one up here as it started to snow again at about twenty past one just as Santa was being towed round the village on an open trailer with straw bales, with the chair of the parish council ina Christmas jumper as a passenger, she said they got soaked. But as a good three inches had already fallen over Friday to Saturday in Sheffield sadly our daughter and son in law could not risk  attempting the 15 mile drive out to here and back again to enjoy the free childrens' rides on the village green as planned. So we went just the two of us and watched everyone else's kids having fun, drank hot chocolate with all the trimmings [good deal we had,  PTA £1 including mince pie. compared to commercial stall outside £3.50! Brought home a craft thing which we will offer the grandson as an after school compensation on Tuesday...he was very sad to miss it but his imaginative parents used a recycling box as a sledge on a hill 5 mins from home instead. We had a hot pork bap as early tea and went to the advent carol service, very lovely choral pieces if you like that sort of thing [I do, once a year..]

happy decluttering everyone, we are on this mission too after our forced disorganised house move etc.

  • Thanks Inanna,I’ll post an update tomorrow.Love to you & Basil.Jane xx

  • Hi Denby,It’s a shame your daughter & son in law couldn’t get over.Your grandson will have enjoyed his improvised sledge. My neighbour sings in the local choir and I have been to a few of the concerts.John’s mum & I went together a couple of times, she especially enjoyed the Carol concert. They are doing a short one this year but I’m too worried about the high levels of Covid in our area.We are still running at double the national average rate.No snow here but it is cold.I’ll try and rake up a few more leaves shortly.Love Jane x

  • Hope you get some clarity tomorrow Jane. Fingers crossed for you. Hx

  • Thanks H,I do think I need more tests.I haven’t been feeling so well lately.I managed to do more in the.garden today,in now and thawing out.Love Jane x

  • Hi,It’s grey and murky here in Somerset.I want to try and gather some leaves and apples as it’s slippery underfoot.I’ve got to book a Covid booster. My sister had hers on Weds eve and said she couldn’t function the following day.Photo is the sunset the other morning.Love to you all.Jane xx
