Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.
Hi Latestart,Good to hear your scan was clear and your reviews will not be as often.Reggae was the first music I bought as a teen and I’m often dancing to Get up Stand up too.I saw Elton John in the late 70’s.He wore high platform shoes, silvery suit and feather boa.My late cats loved hearing the Beatles I think it was the harmonica that they enjoyed.Love Jane x
Hi Ade, I hope it does sell soon. I’ve had enough now as the cleaning and gardening are too much for one person in poor health.
Love,
Jane x
We all have everything crossed for you Jane.
Love Ade ️
I saw Elton too (and others like Bowie, Rod Stewart, Small Faces, Wings) in the early 70s in Birmingham as a student. Maggie May was my song when I first got there.
And in the past 5 years or so I saw Rod and Elton at the O2. Rod looked good but Elton was in a bad way, unable to move much. In the middle of the show the whole piano with him playing it moved on tracks across the stage so people on the other side could see his face.
It must have been exactly 3 years ago because I'd just had my bladder removed. My daughter filmed me dancing to I'm Still Standing and sent it to my CNS. (The show had been postponed for covid and then his hip op so should have happened several years previously.)
Can't beat a good dance around the kitchen for good news, and sometimes even not so good.
Hope to be celebrating your move soon too - definitely the former category - as well as your improved health.
Love

Good news Latestart and perfect track to celebrate. So pleased for you Hx
Thanks Ade,
As usual my sister promised to help but has better things to do. I’m really upset about it but angry too.xx
The top bedroom is looking presentable and so is my bedroom, the lounge, kitchen and downstairs bathroom. I’ve had to stack the large branches behind a bench as they are too heavy for me to carry to the log pile. They need sawing up a bit but I don’t have time. Try and clear the small seating area now as that would make a nice photo.
Love,
Jane xx
