Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.

  • Perhaps I shouldn’t be dancing round the kitchen ! I can play music louder as my neighbours are away.Glad you had a good time with your brother.xx

  • I love the thought of you dancing around the kitchen. once a rock chick Jane always a rock chick xx

    Much love Angela x

  • I was dancing to a track on Bob Marley live Smiley John calls me his rock chick and my sister calls him Mr Poptastic.I must have another look for the list of albums to add to your music thread. There are far too many to choose from.xx

  • my older brother has an annual family bbq since mum passed away, so that we all get together. over the years the choosing what to play for folk to dance to has become a bit chaotic as the kids became adults and trying to cater for all ages. I have started a playlist (written) and will type it up and laminate it so people can choose what they want haha wish me luck

    Much love Angela x

  • That will be quite a task.John likes different music to me but we have so many groups we both like it’s not a problem.I can’t listen to the first Kate Bush album without laughing thinking of John singing along as ‘Alan Partridge’.John is brilliant at impressions.xx

  • .The estate agent rung to ask if the photographer could come over today. He then said she’s booked to come over tomorrow which was news to me.The last time we spoke he was trying to arrange her visit.I’ve said it will have to be tomorrow I can’t get everything done by today. The sun is out here.Love Jane xx

  • Sad button -for you being messed about with poor communications yet again Jane... Denby

  • I'm a reggae fan too Jane - I recall hearing his original version of I Shot the Sheriff while I should have been revising for O levels in 1969 and have loved his music ever since.

So I was dancing in the kitchen to Get Up, Stand Up at top volume after the oncologist rang at 8 a.m. to say my latest CT was clear and now, 2.25 years after my op, she's moving me onto 6 monthly reviews instead of quarterly. Hooray!!I

It's been a long and winding road (also a Beatles fan) but I'm still standing (Elton John ditto) and so are the family. Fingers crossed for the next 3 years. And here's hoping everyone here gets the good news we are all hoping for.

    All the best,
