Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.

  • Good luck with your appointment.Love Jane xx

  • Good luck with your appt mandymay, all our fingers crossed for you. sending you lots of positive thoughts . When is your appointment ?

    Much love Angela x

  • Hi Jane, it’s always stress when you do things the good and proper way, I guarantee there’s a lot of people out there that hide an awful lot from the DWP. Unfortunately NS&I aren’t the quickest to respond, I remember having a “paddy” (can I still use that terminology?) as I didn’t win anything, I’d only had my premium bonds for a month, Dohh. I then requested to withdraw everything and it took weeks, I missed out on some substantial interest! Fine drizzle for us down in Surrey. Managed a 9km jog/run/walk today, really pleased I’m getting back into my fitness, just need to remind my middle aged spread that’s it’s no longer required! No joy with selling the house yet? X

  • Hi Mandymay, there’s a weather warning tonight for thunder, that comes with lightning most of the time! Hopefully that can be your silver lining and perhaps, just perhaps, the NHS have been super efficient for a change and it’s great news!! Fingers crossed for you X

  • Garviv, I can empathise. I live quite a distance from my mum, she’s now got early onset dementia and I went to see her the other day. The house has fallen into disrepair, it is chockablock with “stuff” I have two siblings that are 5 minutes down the road from her, have they done anything? Hmm, they are now as I have given them a darn good chastising. Family hey! It’s always interesting!

  • Wow 9km,that’s great. No luck with the house yet.I hope this couple from London are going to view as they want a project.Once I get the premium bond info in I think the DWP should have everything they requested.I’m not technical so I had to resort to you tube to learn how to convert images to pdf.It has been stressful.Next I have to sort out the difficult auctioneer.Love Jane x

  • Glad you have given your sibs a chastising.I have a younger sister who lives nearby but I have hardly seen her since mum died. It’s taken me 2 and half years to clear the house.Mum had a lot of stuff.

  • In answer to the question posted on this thread title, better than I was a few hours ago that’s for sure JoyJoyJoy

I also hate autocorrect and hope people can make sense out of my posts when it changes half the words I type.

  • Spoke to someone at NS & I to confirm I had the correct document for DWP.Have sent that in and left a message for the work coach.I really hope I don’t have to send in anything else.I’m fed up of looking at bank statements.More rain but the garden needed it.Love to you all Jane xx

  • Honestly it beggars belief sometimes, I guess people get so wrapped up in their own lives they get blinkered? Still a swift kick up the posterior has benefits as there is some movement now and hopefully we can get mums house back in order, it’s the least she deserves! I am led to believe that mum had a cunning plan (I have visions of Dell Boy & Rodney) she was going to but things, upscale or repair them and sell on, trouble is she’s bought the world and not sold anything!! Got to laugh Laughing
