Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.
Sorry to hear that Rily hope your wife makes swift recovery. I and my wife both caught Covid following Holiday in Austria last month. I had terrible saw throat and generally under the weather we both got better after 10 days. Fingers x you don’t get in and your wife gets well soon.
Well, the inevitable happened. Tested positive today, even after keeping the wife at arms length. Just shows how easy it is to catch it. No symptoms yet, but we'll see. Stay safe. Best wishes.

Hi,I hope you are all coping in the heat ? I’m not enjoying it at all.The two men came from house clearance today so I have more floor space on all four levels. The side of the house that looked like Steptoe’s yard has been cleared and swept.I shall leave a good review on their website. There is a still a mountain to sort but it’s a good start and I feel better mentally.Love to you all Jane xx
Hello Jane, pleased you have had some clearance done, you're quite right mentally it feels so much better. It's surprising how much space is revealed. Your picture of a bee reminds me to tell you that every year we have solitary bees burrowing into our bank in the front. They are quite small and the amount we have each year varies. Last year there were only a few but this year there is a far greater volume. They come usually end of July and disappear totally around the first week of October. Apparently it's the type of soil that attracts them, it's quite sandy and I presume softer for burrowing. They don't cause any problems but the local kids always presume they are wasps. Take care, Chris
Hi Chris,I’ve seen a few different bees here too.The one in the photo was enjoying a buddleia that has just sprung up outside the back door.I’d forgotten how large the utility room is but it’s a decent sized room without all the clutter. There is still a lot of stuff to go but it’s progress. My strict aunt is delighted and I try to keep her happy as it’s less stressful that way.Jane x
Thanks Inanna,It’s good to have a bit more space.I hope you are ok and not melting in this extreme weather? Love Jane xx
