Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.
Good luck I had biopsies done last Tuesday for red patch .. take care
Good luck Jacaranda07, hoping for the best result. x
Hi Chris,I was wondering how you are after your biopsies ? Best wishes Jane x
Hello Jane, thanks for enquiring. Went in Sunday had my procedure under GA. Spoke to surgeon afterwards as you do. He actually stretched my bladder and TBH it's has improved my discomfort and frequency somewhat. It's not perfect but feeling much better for it. I asked about the redness and although of course he cannot confirm anything until any results come back he did say that he thought it could be inflammation. Just keeping everything crossed now and hoping he is correct in his judgement. It's nice to come off painkillers for a while though.
Take care, Chris
Hi Chris,I’ll keep my fingers crossed that it is just inflammation.I’m glad the bladder stretch has helped.I had one many years ago and found it beneficial.I should have more space next Thursday as house clearance are coming over.Having had no reply from the local firm I contacted another and the man came to assess and quote yesterday. My aunt is keen to come and stay at the end of August but I’m not sure that I can deal with her at the moment.Best wishes Jane x
At least it sounds you have things on the move. I'm sure you'll feel a lot better within yourself once you see stuff being cleared, maybe a bit of light at the end of the tunnel. It sounds as though you can well do without relatives coming to visit at this moment in time, enough on your plate as it is.
Yes I think I will feel much better mentally. It has been a difficult few months and the last 5 years have been the toughest of my life.It will be easier for the estate agent to see the size of the rooms once they are emptier.I still have a lot to do but am gradually ticking off tasks.
