Hi,I know I have bleated on about how slow the recovery is post cystectomy so I'm pleased to report that things are much better.I managed to clear out the shed at the weekend and have been spending longer amounts of time gardening.I am still not back to full strength but getting there.A letter from my urologist says I am above trajectory for recovery and its less than 4 months since the surgery. He said that if the tumour had been left much longer it would have been inoperable and my chances slim.I hope this gives some encouragement to those of you facing this major surgery.Love Jane XX
Thanks Harry,I hope all is well with you ? Love Jane XX
Wow, I think you're making fantastic progress. Mind you, clearing out a shed wouldn't have been high on my 'to do' list at 4 months post op. Although I was back doing AmDram Christmas show & cooking Christmas dinner at about the same time in my recovery - but still needing plenty of early nights!
I am the same Luce,I never thought I would enjoy gardening so much, but the air and the wildlife are so therapeutic.Love Jane XX
