Hi. I am waiting for my first TURBT to remove a tumour discovered during flexible cytoscopy. I have been experiencing back pain on right side around pelvic area. Could this be related to the tumour? I also suffer quite extreme sweats, especially during the night?
Hi . We know that lower back pain is a symptom of bc. I can remember waiting for my first TURBT and suffered really bad with this. I did not have any night sweats though. I ended up phoning the hospital and they got me in for an earlier appointment. All the pain subsided after the op. Best wishes.
Hi Plantaholic1 , I have had similar after TURBT ops and indeed the night sweats became the norm after every op. Just keep an eye on your temperature though as you don't want to end up with sepsis. If you get the sweats but feel cold and generally awful it could be sign of sepsis.
Hi Plantaholic
I suffer really bad with sweats both day and night never been sure why but they are a real nuisance good luck with the turb.
