At end of week 5. Had a bit of a panic last night as had a rush to the loo and a fair bit of gloopy blood mixed in to very squishy diarrhoea. Does this sound normal ?
I'm a worrier as you know and this has sent me into a bit of a tailspin.
Anyone help?

In this situation I can imagine seeing the blood would make anyone panic so don’t feel that you’re overreacting. I would possibly give the hospital a call & explain to someone from your oncology team what’s happened, they may be able to shed a little light on if this is due to your treatment. As you can imagine from the external skin reactions to the radiotherapy the same will be happening internally also so it may be that you’re quite raw inside, having said that I think I’d get some medical advice just to be on the safe side & to put your mind at rest.
