You should join carers only group as well and you will get support from other carers Here Carers Only - Discussion Forum

It is very scary being in your position and I do hope you find some help and comfort from others here. They are a great bunch of people.

If you ever feel you need more expert help and support the helpline is wonderful and staffed by really caring knowledgeable people who will do everything they can to help you understand your Husbands diagnosis. It is open weekdays 9-8. The number is 08088080000

You have joined the carers only group so it would be best to put any further posts on that group as this one is not very active. More people will see your messages on carers site. I do understand how scared and sad you are, everyone on the carers site will understand and try to help and support you through this.

hi I'm a man who was diagnosed with this in 2016, I was 42 and given this news after falling down the stairs.

like yourself we had never heard of it before and was told its very rare, i was stage 4 and given 8 weeks to live

I had a massive fight on my hands, I stayed in hospital for 9 months and endured intensive treatment and I can honestly say it took everything I had to not let it beat me, my wife and family gave me strength I wanted to go home to them
