Hi all. After breast cancer I have been asked to have an infusion of the above for 3 years. I have been dentist and told I have gum disease and will have to have at least 5 teeth out now (although they are not loose) because no teeth can be removed during treatment. If anymore teeth become infected it can cause jaw problems with the bone which again can’t be treated. I am petrified and wonder if it’s worth the worry in having this treatment. Anyone else dealt with this ???

The Community is organised into dedicated support groups so can I recommend you join our supportive Breast cancers group, this will be a good place to connect with others navigating the (support of a family member on the) same type of cancer journey.

It’s always good to talk and the Macmillan Support Services provides lots of information, support, financial guidance or just a listening ear.
