Hi Dippyhippy and a warm welcome to the Macmillan Online Community but sorry that you needed to find us and I am especially sorry to hear about your diagnosis.
In some measure I appreciate where you find yourself. My condition of over 21 years is incurable but thankfully stable and at this point in time I am not sure what if any treatment would work if my blood cancer decided to wake up. But I will continue to live life to the full and deal the the future when it comes.
Over all these years I have found talking with other people who were on the same position helped me navigate this rollercoaster.
The Community is organised into dedicated support groups so can I recommend you join our supportive Living with incurable cancer - incurable patients only group, this will be a good place to connect with others navigating the same type of cancer journey.
To join a group just click on the link above then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens. The site admin will then approve your request. You then go on and introduce yourself by putting up a ‘New Thread’ or hit the box with the X on the top right (phones). You can also join in with existing ‘Discussions’ by clicking on 'reply'.
It’s always good to talk and the Macmillan Support Services provides lots of information, support, financial guidance or just a listening ear.
Most services are open 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week and it's free to call on 0808 808 00 00 have a look by Clicking here to see what is available and we also have our Ask an Expert section, but do allow two working days for replies from our expert team.
All the very best
Thank you very much indeed for your kind reply, I hope that your day has gone well. The community here seems to be bound by many people, all on there journey of individuality. I'm very great-full for your input and kind advice, my replies may be brief, as my ability to speak and communicate effectively as i once could are limited.
That said i will try my best to do so, in the mean time many thanks again take care and have a wonderful day. Hoping i have made some sense with this reply.

You reply made perfect sense and can be any length, the most important things is being able to connect with other navigating their cancer journeys.
There are some amazing people in the Living with incurable cancer - incurable patients only group, so do connect with them using the methods I highlighted in my first reply.
I wish you all the very best and if at any time you feel you need some help navigating the community or just want a chat do come back to me on this post and we can do this.
