I had autologous stem cell transplant for AITL 12 months ago. I know it's an aggressive recurrent cancer. Does anyone here know of anyone who has survived with this type of Lymphoma. It has to be this specific type to be relevant to my situation. Thank u.
Hi and a warm welcome to the Online Community, a Community that no one really looks to see themselves joining, and so sorry to hear about your concerns around relapse following Auto SCT.
Your type of Lymphoma is rare and like my Lymphoma had to go to SCT. I actually had two Allo (donor) SCT so can understand your concerns. From my prospective I am alive and in remission so for me I am living the dream.
We do have a dedicated Stem cell transplants for blood cancers where you will connect with others walking the SCT journey both as patient or family but I am not sure we have had someone in the group with your specific type but worth joining us.
You can also see some of the members journeys by hitting our names.
Follow the above link then choose ‘click to join' or ‘join’ when the page opens. You can then introduce yourself, post questions or just join in with existing discussions by clicking on 'reply'.
I will keep an eye open for you in the SCT Group.
