Good morning all, so thankful to finally find a place with likeminded understanding souls.
I have Lymphedema which is steadily getting worse. My local NHS have said they do not provide care for it. However, they have referred me to a specialist who monitors it. I have venous reflux as a result of all of this and my Lymphedema was caused by extensive surgery below the waist.
I can barely walk and receive no benefits or help due to my GP’s surgery not updating my records, nor are they willing to write letters for disability living, help at home and a blue badge.
Normally a very positive soul, I feel like I have been forgotten by the system. I look forward to learning from those of you who have had similar experiences and hopefully learn more. Many thanks ahead for having me here. Love, L
