Good morning
Feeling a little bit like the morning after the night before ....................
Friday - colonoscopy - biopsies taken and told by specialist that the results indicate that I almost certainly have cancer
Sunday - had a call to say CT scan is booked for Thursday - to check if the issue is isolated or not
So here we are in this quite strange space....................................
Good morning and a warm welcome to the community, although as you say, a strange place to be. This is a friendly place though where you will get lots of help and support as you go along. The early days of not knowing and uncertainty can be the worst. If cancer is confirmed, then a treatment plan will be put in place, and you know then something positive is happening and you have something to focus on. As you have had a colonoscopy, could I suggest you join the Bowel (colon and rectum) group . The members there will have experience of this and will be able to help and advise you. Click the highlighted link to get to the group and start a new discussion there by introducing yourself with a bit of history of where you are up to. If you have any problems navigating the site, click the reply button below and shout out. Feel free to ask any questions, many of us will know how you are feeling and understand. I hope all goes well. Best wishes.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
