Hi I was wondering if someone could help me. I was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2015 and since then I have had 3 surgerys .. 2015... 2017 and the most radical in 2018 a 5 hour surgery to remove part of the cervix and the tissue around it. I have just had my 3 monthly appointment through for clinic to check how things are and i told the nurse on the phone I have been gettig numbness in my right leg at the top. she sounded very concerned and said she was going to contact my consultant and write high priority... i havent had a phone call or any email so I'm just wondering why is this such a concern isnt it just some nerve damage from the big surgery? I am now partially incontinent and still suffer horrific pain and bleeding sometimes. I'm just a little worried and I'm now starting to overthink and anyone who's had cancer knows where that gets you! xxx

I'm sorry to hear how you're still suffering after the results of surgery. I can see that you've already found, joined and posted in the emotional issues and cervical cancer group where I'm sure you'll get plenty of support.
