Hi,
I have just found out that a close family member has terminal cancer and has been given a prognosis of just 8 months.
I don't know what to say or do as we are all devistated.
Hi
It's no wonder that you're feeling devastated having just found out that a close member of your family has been given a terminal diagnosis. It's understandable that you don't know what to say or do as none of us are prepared for this news. Take a look at this information from Macmillan about discovering someone has cancer as it tells you how your relative might be feeling along with things you can do to help.
Could I suggest that you join the supporting someone with incurable cancer group where you can express your worries and get support from others.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself after selecting 'start a discussion' or join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
