The chit chat thread is for:
"Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment."
Not sure about custard donut, steak and kidney pie more my thing lol, but thanks. By the way, my wife just bought a wig, no cancer, just old age type thinning, loves it, gives her confidence, showed her yours, wanted one, what are women like...
Patrick xx
Glad your wife likes her new hair piece. I have to warn you, wig buying can be quite addictive. Now she can have a variety of colour and style without all the hard work. Expect many deliveries in the coming weeks/ months.
Good evening Patrick, sorry to read that you are running out is steam a bit at present. We all get down from time to time , but this group is the best place to be to ease one’s uncertainty and troubled mind, in my opinion. Support, friendship, good advice or just a listening ear or a gentle kick up the unmentionable is what makes it so special and precious. Big virtual hug to you and Mrs Patrick from

(Kopf hoch Patrick, Du bist nicht allein)
Good morning everyone. The other night whilst waiting for the puppy to settle for the night, celebrity big brother came on the tv. Now I don’t usually watch that, but I left it on whilst getting Alfie settled. It was the first night when all the celebrities enter the house, and I wasn’t paying much attention it was just back ground noise, and then I noticed Trisha Goddard was going in. I know she has stage 4 incurable brain cancer, I had read about her in the paper, so I stopped to watch. She’s amazing! Her strength and courage to do something like this whilst knowing her time is extremely limited, is amazing. She is trying to show people that cancer doesn’t define you. I had previously read that she had hid her diagnoses from people because she wanted to carry on working and not be treated differently. We all know how that feels. But what she said when she entered that house really struck a chord with me. She said don’t let the fear of dying, stop you from enjoying living.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
