Morning all, there will be no new chat thread for April....

Haha, April Fools, here is the new chat thread for April!

If you want to catch up on March's chat you can click here but it will be closed for replies.

The chit chat thread is for:

"Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!

Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.

If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment."

  • Oh Ellie..sending good wishes and a quick recovery to your sister

  • Morning Fleabane and all,  what a lovely magnolia, sadly we struggle to grow them in our lime rich soil, so I'm a little envious and that you live in the Peak district, one of my favourite places.

I have a long drive home today, a few routine appointments and the kids mum to take for her chemotherapy, and catching up with family and friends.

Best wishes to everyone, be kind to yourselves and take care.

    love Eddie and family xx

  • Good morning Lee, its lovely to hear from you my friend,

    Eddie xx

  • Take it steady Eddie...plenty of rest stops..hope the kids mums chemo is ferocious and she recovers quickly

That magnolia was a twig from woolworths.  A friend bought it me years ago for 99p...didn't realise it would grow so big

    Hugs

  • It does look wonderful, all my fruit bushes are from the £1 shop and fruit trees came from Aldi about £5 each, I'm from Yorkshire lol, here's one of the pear trees.

  • Morning Ellie, so sorry to hear about your sister, Fingers crossedPray she gets the care she deserves now, I know we both have family going through cancer too my friend, and how tough it is on us, so sending hugs for both of us.

    love Eddie xx

  • Oh that is so lush.  I only have an apple tree with tiny apples, it's not a crab apple. Oh I tell a lie..I have a greengage and elderberry  tree the birds seeded..lol..

  • You have the peak district on your doorstep, what a fabulous garden that is, l get walnut trees popping up every year courtesy of the squirrels who bury the nuts, now I'm not a fan of rats, but I do admire their  resourcefulness, and watching them climb the mature walnut trees in autumn to gather the nuts in groups is amazing, Poppy has other ideas..

    Eddie xx

  • I am sorry to hear about your sister Ellie, it seems to be a regular occurrence if admitted on a Friday, they send you home to make empty beds for the weekend !! Hope she will be well again soon x
