Morning all, there will be no new chat thread for April....
Haha, April Fools, here is the new chat thread for April!
If you want to catch up on March's chat you can click here but it will be closed for replies.
The chit chat thread is for:
"Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment."
I just went on to you tube to see if I could find the celebs going into BB house so I could hear what Trisha said and came across the clip from Loose women talking about it - a short 6 min discussion which is so uplifting if people can find it. Gloria was there talking about her experiences too.
Hi
I have got my wigs from simply wigs or valentine wigs. They are good online retailers. However, if the wig is from US you will not get a refund. I have watched lots of YouTube videos before I orderany of the wigs.
Another sunny day here but with a chilly wind. Gone to the local farm For pick your own tulips.
Got some for elderly neighbours the rest are in my new container. Used wet sand to hold them up. So far is working but not sure whether the sand is wet enough for the tulips.
Another beautiful display sweety...cheers me up very much. Was just telling my hubby about u and your displays..
Ive just googled the wig suppliers you mentioned and they look amazing! too much choice - who will I be today... I can see how it could become addictive. Now for some fun scrolling through the pics thank you Stella x
Hi
Have you worn wigs before? My advice for the first wig would be choose one similar to your own hair in colour and style. Otherwise it would feel too wiggy / weirded at first. I would also advise to wear make up before you try the wig on. It is because the wig is done perfectly so it looks strange if one’s hair is perfect without make up on.
I found heat defiant (HD) fibre- synthetic hair that allows heat tool - is more realistic looking but higher maintenance especially long/ curly type. Shorted straight style would be easy to maintain and looking very natural.
Synthetic hair- not heatable- very Low maintenance, but can look quite shiny to me.
Human hair- I like but just very expensive and not so interesting coloured as it is just normal hair.
I personally like belle tress wig- more contemporary and less fluffy to me. But they are US import so maybe not the first purchase.
Message me if you have any questions.
Happy shopping
