Hi
I received my termination letter today after a telephone consultation with a work doctor last week. I’m still awaiting figures from the Pension fund but I was wondering who may advise that I am unable to have any paid employment in the future or even do voluntary work as this was not mentioned in the letter - something that has been mentioned before on here. I am currently on a chemo break and may (or may not) feel up to some voluntary work in the future. Thanks
Hi alsopkj, I was just wondering if you got the help and advice you needed?

Hi anndanvyes I did thanks - I was advised that to receive a Tier 1 pension, gainful employment for not less than 30 hours per week was unlikely so as long as I did not work over 30 hours I could! However I may only be interested in some voluntary work if I’m well enough so was pleased to hear that I could! Jayne x
Hi Jayne, I'm so pleased you got the answer you wanted! I hope you are well enough to do what ever kind of work you want to do!
