Stop sending emails to cant reply to

You need to change your preferences. 

Go to the bottom of the screen and find the section called email preferences. Change the drop down box from every update to none or whichever option you would prefer.

If you look at the right hand side of the screen when you are on the Macmillan site you will see a choice block for receiving emails and just below another choice block for receiving emails about threads you have started or commented on.

I'm sorry to see you're having issues with your email notifications. I can see  and  have been giving you some really useful advice already. It looks as though they've worked out whats happening for you.
